Have you ever see a natural hot well?

I had visited sohna in the last month and today I am going to share my experience with all of you. Sohna is about 60 km away from Delhi.

Sohna is known for mountains and hot water, I came to know when I talked to the people living there. There were 7 such wells out of which only 2 are left And the rest is now dry, one of those two is the Shiv Kund, which is the main point of tourist attraction in Sohna, there is a very interesting story behind this hot water.

According to ancient beliefs, Sohna was settled in the name of Rishi Sonak . There is also a story that Sohna got its name after the king Sawan Singh. In Vikram Samvat 1584, a salt merchant Banjara named Chaturbhuj came and camped here. He had camel dogs, and horses in his convoy. When thirsty, everyone went out in search of water but there was no water During this period, Banjara began to sing praises to Lord Shiva and his Guru after losing the tiredness. At that time his dog got wet with water and sat near him. Banjara went with his dog to that watery place. Going there, he saw hot water coming out of a small pit.
Banjara drank that water and gave her animals water and bath. On this, Banjare noticed that even after drinking the water of all the animals, the water did not decrease from that pit. On this, Banjare took a pledge that if I sold my salt khand, then in the name of my Guru I will build it here. Banjaray's wish was fulfilled and he built it at this place and named it after his guru, Sakhmajati Ji Maharaj. Thus a natural source of hot water emerged in the uninhabited area in the foothills of Aravalli. It is believed that skin diseases are cured by bathing with hot water of Shiva Kund, due to which people come from far away to bathe there.
Apart from Shiv Kund, sohna is also very famous for mountains. If you are fond of trekking, camping or any other adventurous activities, then Sohna is the perfect place for you. This camp also has facilities for rope course, paintball and mountain rappelling.

There are resorts built over the mountains here, you can enjoy nature by staying in those resorts, you will get to see the most peacocks and monkeys there. If I talk about myself, I like monkeys more than any other animals and here in the evening I see so many monkeys in the herd That I just want to keep watching them in peace, the herd of monkeys hide in the mountains or in the trees at the time of the couplets and in the evening, everyone comes to the houses in search of food. If you want to see them doing this, then you can see them having fun in the pond of Shiv Kund, not only that, there will also be a lot of history related to you, whether it is an old house or a ruin here. One of which is believed to be the ruins of Kamboj.

The Kamboj people are believed to have a royal identity under Lodhi and the Mughal Empire. These families started settling in from Sohna. These ruins belong to the time when the British had charmed here. For a better understanding of Indian history, you can visit here. Not only mountains but you can also enjoy the lake and waterfall here.
Damdama Lake is one of the most beautiful tourist destinations of Sohna. Surrounded by beautiful greenery and hills, this lake is also a fantastic picnic sporter. People can be seen having fun here on weekends.

Boating, zorbing and other adventure activities are also available here keeping in mind tourism. Sohna is a beautiful ancient city in the state of Haryana, India, which is historically, culturally and naturally significant. So if you guys also want to spend weekend with nature and learn about old things and do fun activities, then Sohna is the perfect place for you.
